Joie de vie! - It means "The joy of life." I was born and raised in South Louisiana in the heart of Acadiana. Joie de vie is a word synonymous with Louisiana French Culture. It's a culture passionate about life, family, food, music and keeping that unique heritage alive and well. Now that I live on the Gulf Coast in the beautiful state of Alabama, I still keep my Louisiana roots deep in my spirit. The same love of life and culture I grew up with now translates into how I approach all my weddings. It's a passionate celebration, cultures combine, families come together to rejoice in a union. Good food and music is savored while guests share stories and enjoy the hospitality shown them.
Because I love your wedding, I love when I get to tell you it's time to walk down the aisle. I love seeing your groom's face as he sees you for the first time. It's priceless. I love the moments when friends and family share their stories about you and your husband, how they love you and want you both to be so happy. I love when you dance with your Dad. I always cry. I imagine he is telling you that he loves you and you will always be his little girl. Seeing your mother so lovely and happy... I'm sure their hearts are praying for a lifetime of love and a life well lived for both of you.
Being of part of all this is my passion and I don't take it lightly. A deep Christian faith feeds my spirit, so don't be surprised when I say I am praying for your wedding day! It's an honor to help you turn your dreams into a reality and then share them with you.
